Knaap Bikes wins big at Industry Awards

Knaap Bikes is celebrating after winning the Best Innovation for a Newcomer Award at the 2020 BikeBiz Awards, in partnership with Tannus Tyres. This prestigious award recognizes new brands that have distinguished themselves with their groundbreaking design and R&D, and winning the award marks a successful conclusion to a successful first year for this grass roots brand from the Netherlands.

Founder Robin Cats said:

“We are very proud and excited to receive such recognition from one of the industry’s leading awards. And it means even more to us that it is judged by industry professionals and cycling enthusiasts”.

The BikeBiz Awards have been held for over a decade and are a major event on the cycling calendar. They recognise and celebrate the very best riders on the UK cycling scene. Finalists from a range of expertly curated categories were first nominated from across the market, then the final list was judged by over 50 judges from across the industry who were tasked with choosing the ultimate winners.

With its clean lines, urban style and impressive features, including a unique two-seat base, it is easy to see how Knaap Bikes withstood strong competition to take home the award. Since its launch, the bike’s innovative design has taken the e-bike market by storm and caught the attention of some of the world’s biggest sports stars, leisure brands and entertainment names, making a name for itself in the industry as one of the world’s coolest e-bikes and “The” brand to keep an eye on in the e-bike and leisure goods market.

Robin Cats continues:

“The Knaap Bike AMS has received a phenomenal welcome in the UK this year with 2021 looking to grow even further. Therefore it is a huge win for us to receive this award for innovation from leading experts and enthusiasts in the UK cycling community.”

Having received such an impressive accolade in challenging times, the award is a fantastic way to end the year and look ahead to a successful and innovative 2021.
